(2009) Another blast from the past. I supervised this unique short film early in my career and also textured the building, several instruments, the main human character, and several props. The texture team was a small dedicated group at Reel FX, but the animation was done partially by animators from around the world and our in-house team.
LIVE MUSIC was made by a global community of 51 animators from 17 countries brought together by Mass Animation on Facebook. It tells a "West Side Story" of rebellious love between Riff, a backroom rock 'n' roll guitar, and Vanessa, the uptown violin of his dreams, that is mistakenly started by a ring-tone.
Created in 2008-2009, a unique short film at it's time featuring animation from artists all over the world.
